What are semi-cured gel nail strips?

Semi-cured gel nail strips are made of real gel liquid polish that has been 60% cured. This makes the nail strips more flexible and easier to apply.

Do I need to cure them with UV/LED lamp?

Yes! Since our nail products are made of real gel polish, they must be cured under a UV/LED lamp to harden. Check out our Mini LED lamp here. 

Is it safe to use Nail Momma semi-cured gel nails?

Absolutely! Nail Momma semi-cured gel nails are 10-free and HEMA-free. This makes our nail strips an excellent choice for individuals with sensitive skin or users who often apply gel polish. For more info, you may check our ingredients list here. 

What does 10-free mean?

10-free means our nail strips were made without the 10 most toxic chemicals found in most nail polish. These are dibutyl phthalate, TPHP, toluene, xylene, ethyl tosylamide, camphor, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, parabens, and lead.

What does HEMA-free mean?

HEMA-free means our nail strips were produced without hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA). HEMA-free products are milder for skin and nails, helping lower the chances of allergic reactions and skin irritations. 

Nail Momma semi-cured gel nail strips as nail extensions?

We don't recommend using our nail strips as extensions. Although they harden after curing, gel nails are less rigid than acrylic nails.

How long do they last?

Nail Momma's semi-cured gel nail strips can last approximately 2 weeks, and even longer with the right application and care. To ensure they last as long as possible, it is important to pay attention to pre-application nail prep, correct application, proper curing, and good hand care.

Are Nail Momma strips waterproof?

Absolutely! However, to ensure the nail strips cure completely, it is best to avoid contact with water within 1 hour after application. 

Will Nail Momma semi-cured gel nail strips help me grow my brittle nails?

Nail Momma nail strips will harden after curing, providing a layer of protection over your nails. So, YES! They help with nail growth.
